NEW YORK: The six hundred and ninety-sixth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards for 2015 has been received.
An estimated $17 million, 47-unit affordable apartment development will be built on the border of Jamaica Plain and Mission Hill under plans submitted by two community development corporations.
The Jamaica Plain Neighbourhood Development Corp. and Back of the Hill Community Development Corp. are proposing the four-storey, 56,290-square-foot building — tentatively named the General Heath Square Apartments — on vacant land bordered by Bromley, New Heath and Parker streets.
