NEW YORK: TeamHealth Holdings Inc has agreed to buy IPC Healthcare Inc.
The deal will allow TeamHealth, which provides contract workers for hospitals and acute care, to expand into IPC’s specialist area of post-acute care, such as nursing homes and assisted-living facilities.
