Top-rated skilled nursing home expands into home care

barryHARRISBURG: Harrisburg-based Homeland Center said it will begin offering personal care and medical care aimed at helping people live longer at home.

Homeland HomeCare services will send aides to people’s homes to help with tasks such as preparing meals and getting to appointments. The service will cost $25 per hour.

Homeland is seeking a government license to launch Homeland HomeHealth, which will provide medical care such as intravenous drugs, changing of wound dressings and physical therapy. Homeland CEO Barry S. Ramper II said he expects Homeland to receive the requisite license within 90 days…
