‘Superagers’ memory matches people 50 years younger

superagers150LOS ANGELES: An elite group of elderly people whose memories are as good as people half a century younger than them may hold the key in the battle against dementia, according to new research.

Brains belonging to “superagers” retained youthful characteristics that allowed them to match test scores of people as young as 18.
