Summer babies more likely to end up with dementia

popsicle DALLAS: Summer babies are more likely to develop dementia, a major study has found.

The study of 150,000 pensioners shows those who born between June and August are more likely to suffer from the condition than those born between December and February.

The research could not explain why the differences were found.

But experts said summer babies might be more vulnerable to respiratory infections, which could weaken overall health, because they were more likely to be exposed to bugs when their immune systems were less developed.
