NEW YORK: The fifty-sixth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards 2016 has been received.
A condominium complex behind Saucon Valley Manor in Hellertown is to be converted into an assisted living facility.
Atiyeh is under contract to purchase the 16-unit condo building, which is owned by the land development group Nor Del L.P. of Nazareth.
“We have a lot of people right now who are looking for private rooms at Saucon Valley Manor. We have a wait list for private rooms, so we figured we would try to accommodate our customers,” Atiyeh said.
His wife, Nimita Kapoor Atiyeh, owns and operates Saucon Valley Manor, which provides assisted living for about 200 residents, with an average age of 85.
