Seniors housing developers compete for Global Award

trophy1 NEW YORK: The thirty-fifth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards 2016 has been received.

The three-storey Cornelius Place building is planned for construction beginning December 2016 on the north side of N. Adair Street between N. 13th and N. 14th avenues. It will include the expanded library, along with a community courtyard, conference and study rooms, and a 100-person meeting room. The library will cover almost 14,000 square feet, a major increase over its current 3,000 square feet.

The second and third storeys of the building will hold 41 apartments for low-income seniors, funded separately by Bienestar.
