NEW YORK: The twentieth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards 2016 has been received.
A Houston area company has announced plans to begin construction in early 2016 on a 77,000-square-foot boutique-style senior living community near Covington. Avanti Senior Living said the $15 million project will provide 60 assisted living suites and 50 memory care suites, as part of its development near the intersection of Interstate 12 and Louisiana 21.
The senior community will feature a wellness centre, a theatre area, a full-service salon and a spa offering relaxation therapy, aromatherapy, therapeutic massages, hair styling, manicures and pedicures. It also will have an art studio with natural light and a stone wall for displaying residents’ artwork, the company said.
