NEW YORK: The first entry for the seniors housing Global Awards 2016 has been received.
The process took longer than expected, but the chief operating officer of the company that bought the Cambridge Hotel said last week the facility will be open sometime in December, bringing new residents and jobs to the village.
“It’s been a long journey, but that happens when you’re renovating an 1885 building. There are always some bumps in the road,” said Kristin Batchelder, chief operating officer of ICC Management & Consulting, the company that bought and is renovating the former Cambridge Hotel into a 40-person senior-living facility that will be known as The Cambridge. “We’re moving ahead pretty well.”
