Seniors housing developers compete for Global Award

trophy1 NEW YORK: The one thousand and fifteenth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards for 2015 has been received.

Shoppers were invited to consult on plans for a new major housing development in Ashford today.

The plans include building more than 600 new multigenerational flats, including a mix of one, two and three bedroom apartments, plus 25 houses on the former Powergen site.

If approved, the scheme would provide modern living for around 900 people, just a short walk from the town’s international station.

Developers are hoping the project will attract London commuters – as part of efforts to boost the local economy.
