NEW YORK: The seven hundred and eighty fifth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards for 2015 has been received.
Plans to bulldoze a closed-down Plymouth skilled nursing home and built a block of flats in its place have been resurrected.
Fanshawe Nursing Home, in Plymstock, closed a year ago after entering receivership.
A total of 31 members of staff lost their jobs, while 21 residents were left needing new accommodation.
Plans emerged in December last year to demolish the grand building on Hooe Road and replace it with 12 apartments.
