NEW YORK: The six hundred and sixty-second entry for the seniors housing Global Awards for 2015 has been received.
Edith Cowan University’s new multigenerational student services facility was one of two buildings from the university recognised at the 2015 Master Builders WA Excellence in Construction Awards last weekend.
The $72 million Ngoolark building at ECU Joondalup, which opened in May, was named the best education building over $20 million, awarded to builder PACT Construction. DenMac Industries won the award for subcontractor of the year for cladding, as the façade subcontractor of the same building.
Ngoolark incorporates local Aboriginal culture in many aspects of its design, emulating the pattern and plumage of several native animals.
