The fifth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards 2017 has been received.
A renovated fishing hut north of Townsville has officially been opened as a respite place for veterans and their families.
The Townsville RSL has invested almost $30,000 to redevelop one of 36 huts at Crystal Creek for use as a rental for current and ex-service Defence personnel.
Potential future guests and RSL representatives toured the facility yesterday ahead of bookings starting next month.
