NEW YORK: The five hundred and thirty first entry for the seniors housing Global Awards 2016 has been received.
The heritage-listed Darling House mansion at Sydney’s Dawes Point has been unexpectedly sold to a scion of Sydney’s Moran family for $7.7 million, well above initial sale expectations of $5.5m-$6m.
Provectus Care managing director Shane Moran plans to operate the 1842-built heritage-listed property, which fronts 8-12 Trinity Avenue, Dawes Point, as a high-end aged-care facility — after he spends up to $3m refurbishing it.
