Leicester MP and chair of the Home Affairs Select Committee Keith Vaz cut the ribbon on the luxury 46-bed Sai Ram Villa on Thursday.
Also present at the ceremony at the Headstone Drive home were Harrow West MP Gareth Thomas, Mayor of Harrow Counselor Rekha Shah, Harrow police commander Simon Ovens, and a priest from the local Hindu temple.
Owner Sandip Ruparelia has extensive experience in the care sector, owning 16 nursing homes across the country, and running skilled nursing homes in the immediate area for nearly three decades.
