NEW YORK: The three hundred and ninetieth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards 2016 has been received.
Eric Bissell, B’nai Brith Canada’s immediate past president and honourary president for life, and his family are donating $1 million toward the planned second B’nai Brith Canada seniors residence in Côte St. Luc, the organization announced.
A cocktail party was held last week to announce the donation and the project’s naming and launch.
The second subsidized seniors residence, which will contain 129 units, will be located near the Côte St. Luc Shopping Centre. The first is at Côte St. Luc Road and Westminster Avenue. Construction on the second residence will begin in September and it is scheduled to be complete in the fall of 2017.
