NEW YORK: The three hundred and sixty-ninth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards 2016 has been received.
Plans for a care village featuring 195 living units, a home and respite hotel, alongside new offices, a restaurant and museum, are set to be given the green light by councillors.
New Care Horizons (The Pinnacle Weymouth) has submitted an application for the redevelopment of the former Ministry of Defence (MoD) site at Bincleaves in Weymouth.
A total of 195 supported living units are proposed as part of the Pinnacle Care Village, as well as a 60-bed skilled nursing home and 34 respite hotel suites as well as medical support facilities, common rooms, leisure facilities and offices.
The scheme also includes provision for a commercial restaurant, museum, cafe and a new promenade, together with improved coastal defence measures, gardens and underground parking.
