NEW YORK: The three hundred and fortieth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards 2016 has been received.
Coming together Friday for ceremonies to officially open the Sugar Estate Seniors Affordable Housing complex, government officials said the facility was the first part of a larger plan to rehabilitate neighborhoods across the territory.
Started under the previous administration, the senior residence complex was spearheaded by the V.I. Housing Authority, whose executive director said Friday that in building the facility, the agency’s board members looked to overcome a big design flaw.
