NEW YORK: The one hundred and ninety-fifth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards 2016 has been received.
A developer has been given the go-ahead to build an assisted living facility on the site of a former car dealership in Park Ridge.
The Park Ridge City Council on March 21 voted 4-2 to grant final approval of a special-use permit for the four-story,110-bed facility proposed for the southwest corner of Northwest Highway and Greenwood. When built, the 52-foot-tall facility will be the tallest building in the immediate area and will be just eight feet lower than the Shops of Uptown mixed use development about one mile east.
