Seniors housing developers compete for Global Award

trophy NEW YORK: The one hundred and thirty-ninth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards 2016 has been received.

After 10 years spent wooing developers, the city of Richfield is weighing a proposal to build 88 units of assisted living at the former public works garage site.

The Richfield Planning Commission unanimously voted Feb. 22 to recommend that developer Mesaba Capital be allowed to purchase and build on the 3.3-acre site, located at East 76th Street and Pillsbury Avenue.
