Seniors housing developers compete for Global Award

trophy NEW YORK: The one hundred and twenty-fourth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards 2016 has been received.

The 120-unit affordable senior housing community is a vital part of Chicago’s Five-Year Housing Plan to commit $1.3 billion to affordable housing projects by 2018.

The $27.6 million development is supported by $2 million in Tax Increment Financing assistance from the City of Chicago, $10.2 million in Low Income Housing Tax Credits, a $3 million loan, and the $1 sale of city-owned land.
