Seniors housing developers compete for Global Award

trophyNEW YORK: The one hundred and twelfth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards 2016 has been received.

Seniors homes in the Links at Gettysburg in Pennsylvania were designed with high insulation levels to keep out drafts and withstand natural weather disasters such as hurricanes and tornadoes.

A movement in the home-building industry to adapt to risks of climate change is gaining momentum, promising new houses that are tougher and more able to bounce back from extreme weather events.
