NEW YORK: Over 2000 people have been supported to live in their own homes for longer via an integrated Telehealth and Telecare service, ALFI (Assisted Living for Independence).
Now a training module is being created. Delivered across three days the induction program focuses on specific areas required such as customer service, communication training, health and safety and dementia awareness.
Although the program has been designed as an induction program for new staff, current employees will also benefit from the partnership. The three day program is delivered in different units to allow staff to attend all or parts of the induction and ensure they receive their bi-annual or annual updates to training when required.
