Mobile home discrimination lawsuit advances to trial

legalNEW YORK: A lawsuit filed against the owner and manager of a mobile home park who allegedly designated a “seniors only” area there advances toward an April trial date.

The lawsuit was framed after they refused to rent a lot to a mother with a two-year-old child in an area reserved for senior citizens.

The defendants have denied that the rental application was rejected primarily because the woman had a child who would live with her.

Since the suit was filed, the woman’s lot rental application has been approved…
