PHILADELPHIA: United States Census Bureau statistics released last year, indicate so called “Baby Boomers,” or those born between 1946 and 1964, number just over 75 million, with projected growth of the 65 plus set, within that generation estimated to be upwards of 87 million by 2050.
These numbers suggest more and more people at one end of the boomer spectrum now in their 50’s are becoming empty nesters, with kids out of school and leaving home.
At the other end of this spectrum are those approaching age 65 or older who are either already in or looking forward to their retirement years…
