Majority of employers believe living wage implementation will not push up costs

MinimumWageblogPHOENIX: A majority of employers do not believe the living wage will push up costs, a survey has found.

“The delivery of high quality services is critically dependent on a workforce that is well-motivated, well-led and has appropriate opportunities for training and skills development,” said the survey.

Employers paying the living wage is one factor that helps deliver this. “My own experience of providers that apply this is that there has been little if any uplift in total cost as they quickly realise they achieve further tangible benefit of a more engaged and motivated workforce,” said…
