Flinders University helps find potent vaccine for dementia

Vaccine3150PHILADELPHIA: The world’s first dementia vaccine could be just three to five years away, after research teams at Flinders University in Adelaide and in the US landed a “breakthrough discovery”.

In the face of more than 7.5 million new cases of Alzheimer’s diagnosed annually around the world, scientists have been ­developing and testing formulas to combat the disease for several years.
