WASHINGTON, D.C.: Almost 300 luxury flats specially designed for old people are now open for short-term rents, after the Housing Society’s first project targeting the elderly rich – initially requiring lifelong contracts – got a lukewarm response.
The change in strategy, including a 10 per cent discount, came on Tuesday as fewer than 45 of the 588 flats in the Tanner Hill project in North Point had been snapped up since its opening in December last year…..
