Evidence of seniors preference for holiday parks over retiree villages

CHICAGO: There has been a significant increase in the number of seniors seeking to live in camping grounds in preference to retirement communities said Salvation Army Corps Officer Captain Perry Bray

Invercargill Salvation Army Corps Officer Captain Perry Bray said some people who struggled with finding other options, including rental properties, were choosing to live in camping grounds.

“There are definitely situations where that happens quite a bit, it often happens through what we would perceive as a lack of choices, but there are also times where these people have no other choice.”…
