Discrimination and rudeness are daily travails for elderly

BOSTON: The last great “ism” is still to be conquered. Every day the elderly are subjected to imprisonment, segregation, restraint, chemical coshing, tasering (Canadian long term skilled nursing home), social media derision and bank balance rape. But there is also subtle dismissiveness, corporate bullying, inflexible thinking, rudeness, insensitivity and ignorance.
