Dementia research boosted by rise in volunteers

volunteerPHILADELPHIA: The number of people taking part in ground-breaking dementia research has grown by 60%.

Research includes investigations into the role of antibodies in slowing down cognitive decline, the role of the immune system in dementia and genetic risk factors. Improving end of life care also forms part of some studies.
