LOS ANGELES: A nursing home struggling to attract talent said it has resorted to paying new joiners a ‘golden hello’.
The organisation has been running the scheme since June in response to the problem of attracting and retaining good nurses in the private sector.
The news comes as figures published last month showed nurse vacancy rates were running at 9 per cent.
