Boomers designer home sells for $15 million

boomers-designSAN FRANCISCO: It took almost 18 months and more than $2 million shaved off the asking price, but Port Douglas trophy home The Edge has finally sold – to a buyer from Sydney.

Jutting out of the Port Douglas hillside like a crash-landed UFO, the two-bedroom concrete bunker overlooking the Coral Sea was listed for sale in May last year by owner Claire Graham with $7.4 million hopes

These were drastically cut back at the start of the year to “offers over $5 million” as Ms Graham along with numerous other trophy home vendors reined in their unrealistic expectations…
