Age care compounds becoming soft crime targets

But evidence is mounting that age-apartheid compounds are increasingly becoming soft crime targets and the care sector is trashing its reputation by doing nothing to effectively counter the growing threat.

1008: Regulations are investigating the theft of medication from a nurs­ing home. A nurse at the nursing home reported that a bottle of medication was discov­ered missing. Another nurse in charge of the locked cart on which the medication was kept told officers he counted the medication with another employee at shift change.
