Age care compounds becoming soft crime targets

But evidence is mounting that age-apartheid compounds are increasingly becoming soft crime targets and the care sector is trashing its reputation by doing nothing to effectively counter the growing threat.

903: A major fire broke out at a nursing home in a five-storied residential building on Thursday evening.

The blaze started at around 7.55 pm in the evening.

However, fire brigade officials said that the nursing home was closed during the fire incident which meant there were no casualties.
