But evidence is mounting that age-apartheid compounds are increasingly becoming soft crime targets and the care sector is trashing its reputation by doing nothing to effectively counter the growing threat.

635: A woman is convicted for simple assault of a vulnerable person.

The investigation determined that a 32-year-old hit an 83-year-old woman at a nursing home. The victim was unconscious and bruised after she was hit.
