But evidence is mounting that age-apartheid compounds are increasingly becoming soft crime targets and the care sector is trashing its reputation by doing nothing to effectively counter the growing threat:

533: The daughter of a 96-year-old said she was “eaten up with guilt” after her dad allegedly did not receive the correct level of care at a residential home while she was on holiday with her brother and sister.
