But evidence is mounting that age-apartheid compounds are increasingly becoming soft crime targets and the care sector is trashing its reputation by doing nothing to effectively counter the growing threat:

453: A judge ordered a former nurse to spend four months in jail for pilfering pain pills and affixing skilled nursing home residents’ fentanyl patches to their tongues in what a prosecutor called an “egregious abuse of trust.”
