Age care compounds becoming soft crime targets

But evidence is mounting that age-apartheid compounds are increasingly becoming soft crime targets and the care sector is trashing its reputation by doing nothing to effectively counter the growing threat:

392: The family of a 75-year-old woman has expressed outrage that she was charged for home care she didn’t receive – given she was holed-up in hospital at the time.

The invoice stated that she was being ordered to pay the usual weekly fee despite only receiving two hours care in the days before going into hospital – not the eight hours to which she was usually entitled…
