Age care compounds becoming soft crime targets

But evidence is mounting that age-apartheid compounds are increasingly becoming soft crime targets and the care sector is trashing its reputation by doing nothing to effectively counter the growing threat:

303: A male nurse has been struck off after attacking a patient at a hospital.

He shouted “come on then” before launching the frenzied attack.

He head-butted the patient three times while he lay in critical care.

The shock was so much he had to be put on a ventilator.
