NEW YORK: The three hundred and sixty-fifth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards for 2015 has been received.
The final phase of the Janet’s Corner development in Castletown features the first homes in the Isle of Man designed to achieve the internationally recognized Passivhaus standard.
The two three-bedroom properties have been built using methods aimed at minimizing energy consumption. They are part of wider efforts by the Department of Infrastructure’s Housing Division to encourage more sustainable construction methods in the Island.
