NEW YORK: The three hundred and thirty-fourth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards for 2015 has been received.
Affordable housing specialist Pocket Living has submitted plans for a 24-storey residential tower in south London.
The Mapleton Crescent scheme in Wandsworth town centre is the largest to date for Pocket Homes, which sells its homes at a 20% discount off local prices to local first-time buyers earning less than $110,000.
Pocket estimates that over the next 10 years it will invest around $778 million in delivering new homes, targeting the ever-growing numbers of Londoners who are priced out of private housing and unable to secure social housing to own a home of their own.
