Seniors to gain access to city living via 10 year leases

AUSTIN: Seniors and professionals priced out of homes close to the city are getting an option half-way between renting and buying: 10-year leases.

Smart Urban Villages plans to build apartment buildings with long leases and communal studios, worksheds and dining rooms.

Ethical superannuation fund Future Super may back the two $19 million buildings, which are likely to have up to 50 apartments…
