SINGAPORE: A new Housing and Development Board (HDB) display apartment gallery was launched yesterday. It features a studio apartment and an interactive design-your-own-flat station.
The studio apartment allows prospective buyers to view elderly-friendly fittings in such units, including built-in wardrobes and kitchen cabinets, sliding partitions, grab bars and pull cords linked to an alarm system.
The apartment also features eco-pedestals in bathrooms that recycle water for toilet flushing and open-concept kitchens.
