Developers increasingly looking at over 50s market to rescue ailing projects

DALLAS: Developers who are struggling to sell apartments, flats and units are increasingly targeting the over 50s market in an attempt to rescue languishing projects.

But far from being a sales pushover, the over 50s are proving to be a tough conversion.

Boomers will pay a premium for all goods and services, but only if the quality of the purchase engenders ‘excitement’ and ‘opportunity.’

Helping patch up someone’s error is not a motivation or buying driver…
