Seniors housing developers compete for Global Award

trophyNEW YORK: The five hundred and seventy-fifth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards 2016 has been received.

Construction on the town’s second assisted living facility is moving along, with completion expected next summer.

A dedication ceremony for The Residence at Vinnin Square, a $17 million, 84-apartment project, located at 224 Salem St., was held on Wednesday. The development team, LCB Senior Living, hosted the event, which offered attendees, including local and state officials, a closer look at the ongoing work.

“This is a great place to age with dignity, and I think everyone deserves to age with dignity,” said state Rep. Lori Ehrlich (D-Marblehead).
