Seniors housing developers compete for Global Award

trophyNEW YORK: The five hundred and forty fourth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards 2016 has been received.

A new assisted living and memory care facility for senior citizens is now open on Randolph Road, the latest in Charlotte’s building boom for older residents.

The $40 million Waltonwood Cotswold facility, by Michigan-based Singh Development, is at 5215 Randolph Road. The eight-acre, 120,000 square foot facility includes 91 assisted living apartments and 26 specialised memory care apartments for those with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.

Executive director Leah Nash said the facility “provides residents with a sense of purpose, dignity and fulfilment through a variety of dynamic offerings which are designed to meet a variety of preferences and needs that are unique to each individual.”
