Seniors housing developers compete for Global Award

trophyNEW YORK: The four hundred and forty-second entry for the seniors housing Global Awards 2016 has been received.

The City Council Wednesday night is set to vote on a zoning request for conditional use for Fox River Run, a new apartment complex for those 55-and-older being planned for the northwest corner of Route 31 and Lawrence Avenue.

Kane County Circuit Clerk Thomas Hartwell is selling the site to Buckeye Community Hope Foundation for the project. The Ohio-based foundation’s website states it is a “not-for-profit corporation that creates and supports new opportunities for those who need them most: seniors, struggling families, underserved students and misdirected youth.”
