Seniors housing developers compete for Global Award

trophy NEW YORK: The three hundred and ninety-eighth entry for the seniors housing Global Awards 2016 has been received.

The success of The Commons in Brunswick has spurred on plans for a new and even more innovative apartment building called Nightingale.

Plans for a $7 million, five-storey apartment block featuring rainwater toilets, resale restrictions and zero parking spaces are being taken to VCAT by incensed neighbours.

The Nightingale project for a site next to Fairfield railway station was approved by Darebin Council last month.
