The accolades keep rolling in for Wellington City Council’s controversial social housing flats.
The Marshall Court flats in Miramar, which had a few teething problems with tenants last year, has won the Winstone Wallboards Residential award at the New Zealand Commercial Project Awards.
The rebuild of the flats was part of the council’s housing upgrade program, a $400 million 20-year partnership with the Crown, which began in 2008.
